Nationwide Auto Policy Discounts
Multi-Car Discount Available when the Company provides liability coverage for two or more autos owned by the policyholder and/or relatives residing in the same household. This discount also applies if the policyholder is the co-registered owner of two or more autos garaged in the same household. The reduction to your premium will vary.

Good Driver Discount *
Available to drivers who have been continuously licensed at least three years, including the most recent 18 months in the U.S. or Canada; and have incurred no more than either one minor traffic conviction or one non-injury at-fault accident in the past three years. Any driver whose license has been suspended or revoked within the past three years or whose license has lapsed for more than three years does not qualify. The Good Driver rate is a 20 percent discount.

Mixed Policy Rates *
For policies that have at least one Good Driver who has maintained their Good Driver status for the past 36 months, any Non-Good Drivers on the policy will benefit by receiving a reduced rate.

Traffic Conviction Forgiveness
Policies that have been continuously in force for at least five years, and the driver has had no principally at-fault accidents, or convictions in the last three years. The occurrence of a single minor conviction on or after September 1, 2000 will not be charged in the safety record and premium will not be impacted.

Accident Forgiveness
Where a policy has been continuously in force for at least 10 years, the driver has no principally at-fault chargeable accidents or convictions for at least the last 3 years and has been licensed for at least five years, the occurrence of a principally at-fault accident will not result in points being charged (accident forgiveness). If within 3 years of the first fault chargeable accident, the same driver incurs another principally at-fault chargeable accident or conviction, then points will be assessed for the first principally at-fault accident as well as the new incident. This change will affect principally at-fault accidents that occur on or after July 1, 2001.

Anti-theft Discounts *
A 15% discount applied to the Comprehensive coverage premium of any vehicle equipped with a ForceTracker, Infiniti Communicator, Lexus Link, LoJack, Mobile Mayday, NetworkCar, On-Guard, Onstar or Teletrac theft recovery device. Proof of installation required. Product discounts available exclusively to Nationwide Auto customers for ForceTracker, LoJack, and Teletrac.

Group Discount
Nationwide Auto offers a Group Program Discount to qualifying members of certain occupational groups including engineers, educators, and scientists. Effective January 1, 2002, the Group Discount Program for California policies will also include certified public accountants (CPAs), computer professionals with a degree, dentists, pharmacists, physicians/surgeons, and Nationwide Auto Insurance employees.

Mature Driver Discount *
Available when the principal operator of an insured auto is age 50 or older, has successfully completed a Mature Driver Improvement Course approved by the states DMV, and has had no chargeable at-fault accidents or traffic convictions in the past three years. This discount gives a two percent decrease in California, and five percent in Nevada, Oregon and Washington. You may also receive a discount for the National Responsible Driver Course - Home Study Edition, a DMV approved course.

Good Student Discount *
A Good Student Discount of 10% discount for female and 15% males, applies to premiums for Bodily Injury, Property Damage, Medical Payments, Uninsured Motorist, Comprehensive, Collision, and UMPD $3500 coverages applicable to the insured motor vehicle provided the rated operator:
